⛵ Sailing expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula aboard Skip Novak's sailing yacht Pelagic Australis. After the South Georgia expedition in September/October 2019 we set sails once again on our third expedition in the high latitudes. This time South - to the frozen continent! ➔ SUBSCRIBE & HIT THE 🔔 http://bit.ly/-SAS-Subscribe We left Puerto Williams, Chile (the most southerly town in the world) in December 2019 and sailed 520nm passed Cape Horn and across Drake's Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula. Here, we spent 3 weeks soaking up the incredible scenery and the abundant wildlife it has to offer. As so often in these spectacular places, time just flies by and we could have easily spent another 3 weeks (or more!) here. With its high, snow covered mountains that drop straight into the sea and wildlife all around, the Antarctic Peninsula is one of the last great wildernesses on earth. We are very much looking forward to return in February 2020 for our second expedition to the frozen continent on Pelagic Australis! Thank you for watching!
