Here I’m unboxing Allbirds Runner-up Mizzles, sustainable footwear with a carbon footprint of just 10.47 kg CO2e. Made from ZQ certified Merino wool, sugarcane-based green EVA, castor bean oil-based insole foam and shoe laces made from recycled plastic bottles. Allbirds aim to replace petroleum-based synthetic materials with natural alternatives whenever they can.
