Madeleine & James’ wedding was a beautiful, warm October celebration at Hart House at the University of Toronto; a day filled with emotion, meaning, and so much joy. Their ceremony was anchored by deeply heartfelt vows, spoken with honesty and tenderness by both Madeleine and James. Madeleine shared how she met James during a low point in her life, a time when she kept herself going by writing in her diary and reminding herself that the next best thing might be just around the corner. As it turns out, the next best thing was James. For him, it was love at first sight; he knew immediately that she was the one. Surrounded by an eclectic and supportive group of family and friends, the day felt intimate, personal, and full of warmth. James’ family, who are Korean, have embraced Madeleine wholeheartedly, a love that’s beautifully mutual as she has fully embraced their culture, even learning the language fluently.
