Hayden's opus count reached at least 798. ------------------------------- Typical "Yankee" march. -------------------------------------- NEW: SLIDE BETWEEN DIFFERENT FINGERS (4,2) ------------------------------ [Bar 1-2] The slide starts like the one on a single finger, but, in our case, finger 4 (which starts after the open notes E and A) stops on fret 3, from which finger 2 starts towards the note C#. ---------------------------------------------------------- NEW: SLIDE BETWEEN DIFFERENT STRINGS (3,2) ---------------------------------- [Bar 4-5] Finger 1 moves back one fret and then slides onto the note C# [with a rotation of the wrist (l.h.)]. [Bar 6] Immediately setting the barré ½ c2 gives stability to the phrasing. [Bar 15] Slide between strings 3 and 2: finger 1 slides one fret and then moves up to the note C#. To do this, you must hold the starting note G#.
