Installing the cheapest vw split bus emblem I could find. Turned out to be a lot of work but I am happy to have the logo emblem back on the split bus. @vwlife @vwbus @JohnHasABus #vwcamper I’ve been wanting to go to buses by the bridge for a few years now. I was building up my 71 bus to do that but just picked up a 65 bus and I want to get that going so that might be the bus I take to buses by the bridge. I also want to do Sasha snow trip and that’s only a couple weeks after buses by the bridge in Lake Havasu, so I might just make a really long trip of it all. The 1965 VW split bus that I picked up had tabs from 1981 so it hasn’t been driven for a really long time I was able to get the engine fired up and I’ve been buying pieces trying to dry it in since I live in Montana, and it’s getting cold and wet.
