Discernment Advices - What is God calling me to?

In the process of vocational discernment we look at two principal elements: the aspect of the call, which is subjective because it happens within the person. The other aspect is more objective, because it is observable. They are two different components: one is God calling the person the way he wants to, through prayer, through things that happen within the person with the awareness that God is calling him. But God has also created us and placed us in concrete circumstances, with a history that prepares us for the vocation and mission God calls us to. So, we can look at all the elements that God has placed in our lives that give us a clue, and a sense of where God is calling us to.
