What if the music from Gradius (Nemesis) was the backing music for an 80's rock band, with lyrics about the levels? Welcome to Gradius Rocks... or, in this case, Gradius (almost) Rocks! I released this song believing it to be a perfect fit for the Gradius Rocks album but, when listening to it in the context of the whole album, I quickly decided that it needed to be replaced. It isn't a bad song, but it uses less than 20 seconds of the Mechanical Globule melody which isn't what I wanted to achieve.
