This is a trainer reference for my father so that he can program the DCC chip settings in his trains without me. I posted it because I thought this might help anyone else trying to work out these horrendously-confusing screens in the Hornby software (really guys, hire an HCI expert!) This video in the series shows us trying out the chip we just programmed to make sure it can be controlled by the Railmaster software using the ID we've set up for it. Disclaimer: I'm no expert. I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know anything about train sets, DCC's, any of it, so don't bother asking or suing. What I do know is computer systems and have a little common sense and this is what I've found from trial and error and reading manuals trying to work it out. This might save a few minutes head scratching for someone, or provide entertainment (really?), nothing more.
