Candy Apple TV: Why Do Candy Apples Get Bubbles? Here on Candy Apple TV, I will show you my Bubble Free Candy Apple Tutorial. It was challenging for me to make bubble free candy apples as a beginner. I couldn't even get my candy to stick on the apples. My candy would slide all down the apples or I would have bubbles everywhere….lol. I was confused about candy apple recipes to use. Half the time I couldn't get all of my candy apples dipped because either the candy thickened so hard I couldn't continue to dip my apples, and or I didn't have enough candy to finish dipping my candy apples. Bubble free candy apples will be an issue most beginners struggle with. The main reasons why beginners cannot achieve bubble free candy apples is due to you not cleaning the apples good. Second, not thoroughly cleaning the wax off the apples by repeatedly using paper towel or a clean kitchen cloth to wipe down your apples. Third, your candy apples are not bubble free because you don't let your apples sit long enough before you dip your candy apples. The final reason beginners cannot get bubble free candy apples is due to the insertion of the candy apple stick. You need to make sure all apple juice is cleaned from the insertion of the candy apple stick so you will have bubble free candy apples. I learned how to make candy apples 1.5 years ago and love it!
