Welcome to our review of the Fox Tail by Alex Crews ACSOD - I have been riding this as a 6'5 x 20 3/8 x 2 9/16 - 36L. From https://acsodsurfboards.com/products/... Introducing the Fox Tail. Our first mid-length in the ACSOD lineup. Birthed as an extension of our popular Fox model. Keeping the Gold Coast's point breaks in mind, the Fox Tail took all the favourite attributes of the original Fox and stretched them out for a more drawn-out approach. The extra length maximises your paddle power to battle the sweep and catch waves easily. Once up and riding, the Fox Tail surfs with speed out the gate and a nice rail-to-rail roll when transitioning through turns. A perfect option for when you want to slow things down and enjoy the speed and flow of a running point break. I tried a variety of twin fins, but really enjoyed the Zack Flores Twin Fin by Futures. Starting with a hand laid fiberglass panel, the ZF twin is CNC cut and hand foiled. This template features an upright design, allowing for tight turns in the pocket while not sacrificing drive down the line.
