Stick size does matter! The drumset in this hall changed a while back, and these drums project a lot better, but also choke out a little at higher volumes. So I decided to try switching to Pantheon 7A's from their 5A's that I've been using. Turns out the drums respond a lot better, and the sound guys appreciate it a lot more too! Which you will hopefully hear the fruits of in this video and the ones to come. Unfortunately, the 7As are shorter than I'd like and obviously less beefy, so I'm still getting used to it, missing a few rimshots here and there. But hopefully I'll get better!
