The day has finally arrived. After much anticipation, my Ginetta G56 GTA is ready to be driven for the first time. I head to the Blyton Park circuit in Lincolnshire for some tuition and testing behind the wheel. Ginetta drivers Mike Simpson Max Coats are on hand to help teach me the ropes before I get the chance to fly solo. It's a wet morning session with thrills, spill and spins, as I get to grips with this purpose-built GT racer. I'll need to learn quick ahead of the first race of the Ginetta GT Academy Championship.
