DDC is a broken game, look at how fast SakuyaA melts Shinmyoumaru (and I haven't even optimized it enough). About the fight, it's really consistent, only scary spell is YGB if you don't use Reimu, the rest is easily learnable. To practice this boss, I did 20 captures of each spell and then I did runs, I got it faster than I thought, 5 runs that entered Shinmyoumaru (also please not that the captures are not accurate because of the practice score file I used, so you have to subtract 1 from the total count). I'm gonna report the capture rates from the spell practice (in quotes the ones from the runs): Small Bullet "Inchling's Thorny Path" 20/40 (4/4) Mallet "Grow Even Bigger!" 20/31 (3/4) Bewitched Sword "Shining Needle Sword" 20/35 (2/4) Mallet "You Grow Bigger!" 20/53 (2/3) "Wall of Issun" 20/26 (3/3) "The Seven Issun-Boushi" 21/47 (3/3) The third spell gave me more problems because in practice I ended it way earlier, but it's not really hard to route, so I suggest spending a bit more time on it in case you can't end it quickly.
