This is a really well-designed toy for your little ones that fosters all kind of great exploration and interaction. It's the Pull & Discover Activity Elephant from VTech, and it's full of age-appropriate activities for little ones as well as being a cool pull toy and a very friendly character. Kids can pull it along and hear sounds, phrases and music. Then, they can plop down and start playing. This is sized well for toddlers to interact with while sitting. It has two modes: music and talking. Parents may have to adjust that for the youngest kids, but little ones will probably get the hang of it quickly. There are also two volume settings, which is great when kids are sitting near the speaker. The play activities are updated versions of classic toddler play that helps them develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, shape identification, trial and error and discovery through manipulative play. The songs and verbal cues help kids being to identify shapes, letters and numbers naturally as they play and interact with the toy. Virtually anything a child does will get a response and encourage additional play, and each interaction helps reinforce and refine important skills. We were impressed by this new way to bring together a lot of important basic play activities in a creative and engaging toy.
