This is the powerful true story of Bilal ibn Rabah (RA) – a Black Abyssinian slave who rose from the burning sands of Makkah to become the first caller to prayer in Islam and one of the greatest symbols of faith, courage, and equality in human history. Born into slavery with no status, no tribe, and no power, Bilal’s life was meant to disappear in silence. But when the message of “La ilaha illallah” (There is no god but Allah) reached his heart, he chose faith over fear – and paid the price for it with unimaginable torture at the hands of his master Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
