Sometimes all we need is a break to realise what is our purpose in life. We tend to forget ourself and live for others. But over the years I have learnt that only when we love ourself, we are able to keep others happy. I was truly people’s pleaser. I dont know if that’s the real term for it. But I loved to make other’s happy even if I had to sacrifice my happiness for it. But that led my life into a depressed state because I forgot about myself. When we start believing that our happiness is our choice and their happiness is their’s, we start to make ourself happy before we move to others. This might sound selfish, but its a fact. Atleast I know. When you think you are doing it for other’s happiness, let me ask you, who are you to decide their happiness? Its their choice right ? So start keeping yourself happy rather than going around to work for the world. Not necessary they be happy because of you. And if they don’t, it leads to your frustration. Have you said anytime, “ how much I did for them and look what I got in the end?” Atleast I have said this n number of times. Its then, I changed for myself.
