If you have an ugly RV doghouse and are considering giving it a facelift, this video is for you. In this episode we will be tackling the engine cover or the doghouse. Carpet removal comes first, then insulation, then some final touch-ups and re-installation. Join us as we renovate our 1998 Itasca Sunflyer RV and embark on our plan to completely repurpose our rig to comfortably house our family of seven. We have never owned an RV, so our renovation journey will be a bit bumpy. Follow our progress to learn what to do -- and sometimes more importantly -- what NOT to do. As you will see, she has a LOT of work, but our goal is to chronicle the renovation in detail so that if anyone else out there is working on -- or dreaming of working on -- a similar project, they can see what it takes. Our plan is to fully gut the RV and build her back up from the driver console to the bathroom to the kitchen to the bedroom to the exterior.
