Remember to hit the like button! Flight from São Paulo Congonhas (CGH) to Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont (SDU). This flight is called "ponte aérea" (i.e. air bridge). The plane is PR-GUN, a Boeing 737-800 delivered to GOL in 2012. In the front of the plane, from top to bottom, there are two pitot tubes and an alpha vane (aka AOA vane). While the pitot tubes are used to measure speed, the AOA is an external probe used to measure the angle of attack. São Paulo - Rio de Janeiro is the seventh busiest air route in the world by number of passengers. Some years ago, I used to fly very frequently the Barcelona-Madrid route. Although it used to be one of the busiest in the world, now it doesn't even appear in the top twelve (according to Wikipedia), probably due to the AVE (high speed train). We departed from runway 35L. This runway is 1940 m (6365 ft) long, elevated 802 m (2631 ft) AMSL. The video shows all the stages of the flight (pushback, engine start, flaps being deployed, takeoff, cruise, inflight service, approach and landing).
