Loaded into Fortnite Zero Build Trios with the same squad: the legend T-West, my cracked daughter Kaylee, and me… the team’s “we tried our best” representative. From the drop, the skill gap was immediately visible. Kaylee was pushing everything with zero fear and perfect aim. T-West was calmly calling rotates, managing positioning, and winning fights like it was routine. I, on the other hand, was focused on important tasks like not falling off cliffs and remembering which button heals me. Early fights went well—by we, I mean Kaylee and T-West. They were cracking shields, securing knocks, and wiping teams while I contributed with light emotional damage and the occasional assist. I did land a few shots though, just enough to justify being there and not switching to spectator mode early. Mid-game was actually solid teamwork. Good comms, clean rotations, smart positioning. I stayed close, listened to callouts, and tried not to sprint directly into danger (mixed results). I managed a couple bot elims and even helped finish a real player… after T-West had already done 95% of the work. End game hit and it was all business. Kaylee was full send, T-West was clutching every fight, and I was holding angles like my life depended on it—because it did. I mostly stayed alive, avoided throwing, and provided moral support while the heavy lifting happened in front of me. Victory Royale. Great team effort. Elite teammates. And me—successfully carried, but at least carried politely.
