I Think My Controller is Broken (Rage Warning) / Street Fighter 6 / Juri to Master Day 14

I might use this space to talk more about my thoughts since I started cutting the chatter from the vids to focus on gameplay. In this episode I noticed my controller acting funny while playing. The left side has trouble reading inputs. At first I thought it was just me because I'm still new and have terrible inputs but going into training I was able to confirm that the controller is not functioning correctly. I could not jump forward on P2 side most of the time. The joystick must be going bad so I'm looking into another one. I did manage to fix it temporarily by using a lot of force back and forth in the troubled areas. It feels a bit better but I'm not confident it'll last. If you read this and have recommendations for another joystick, I'm all ears. Aside from the technical frustrations, I'm getting more and more comfortable playing. The reason why I don't talk as much while playing is because this game takes a lot of focus. There's so much going on and I'm still trying to learn so my brain prioritizes those things. I notice I'll sometimes just stop mid sentence to focus. Sorry about that. I feel like the more comfortable I get, the better I'll be able to commentate while playing. It really is a skill you have to build! Overall, I still have a TON of work if I just want to be good. I keep letting the opponent get away with so much sometimes. I know getting to Masters is possible since during my casual matches I fought a couple of Master players and managed to win! Hopefully it all comes together this year and I can complete my goal!
