✨This is a little compilation of musicians trying out the Boobster. ✨ 🎸Info: The Boobster is a true bypass boost pedal for electric guitar and bass, based around a standard operational amp TL071. It is adjusted with two control knobs, one for amplification - "boobst" - and one for tone. With the boobst control at minimum setting, the amplification is slightly louder than unity and the signal is not distorted. When the boobst control is turned up the signal gradually becomes louder and the distortion increases. The pedal has two LEDs which are on in effects mode and off in bypass mode. The LED's also indicate the setting of the boobst control in that they shine brighter the more the control is turned up. The tone control is connected to a combined high- and low pass passive filter. When the tone control is turned all the way to the left, the low pass filter is most prominent. When is turned all the way to the right the high pass filter is most prominent. The settings between the end positions have character of both high and low pass. The pedal is powered with 9V DC power supply with standard polarity "center negative". Current consumption is depending on the setting of the boobst control. It is about 6mA when in effects mode and when the boobst control is at max. The power current consumption is lower if boobst is turned down or if the pedal is set in bypass mode. 🎨The pedal is designed by Elena Macías from Paws Nap (original idea and artwork) and Albin Roslund from Moody Sounds (circuitry). The Boobster is hand crafted in Sweden by Moody Sounds using Switchcraft tele jacks, Lumberg current jack, and Alpha potentiometers.
