We were invited for tea and to stay for the night with a very kind family in a traditinal Pamir house in one of the villages in the Pamir Mountains, and in the morning it's hard to say goodbye and continue riding. It was so nice here, that we would like to stay longer. But we also want to reach Mongolia before winter, so we have to ride on. In the town of Khorog we do some shopping and then we continue. It's hot, but fortunately, along the road there are several possibilities to bathe. The views on the mountains and the river Panj are as beautiful as before. -------- In 2017 we went on a bicycle journey. The goal was Mongolia, but also to get to know new countries and the local people. Sometimes, we left the bikes somewhere and hitchhiked, and the Caspian Sea we crossed on a cargo ferry, on which next to our bikes a camel was parked.
