CEL WAS ON WITH ALL MONITORS PASSED DTC: P0263 CYL 1 CONTRIBUTION/IMBALANCE Intermittent Stumble at idle upon initial startup when ECT was below 165 degrees F. Vehicle did not lack power and didn't miss a beat when test driving. TESTING & DIAGNOSIS: Researched DTC(s) & DTC(s) setting criteria: HO2 Sensor Signal is used to determine inadequate contribution of cylinders in terms of AIR/FUEL & the DTC is set after 2 Drive Cycles providing no other circuit faults are set concerning the ignition/injector systems. Clear Flood Crank - No indication of a compression issue was heard-consistent cadence. Performed an under hood harness inspection - NFF Smoked Intake System - No leaks found Ignition System Testing - Symptoms did not warrant an ignition issue & COP for Cylinder 1 lived underneath the Intake Manifold. Determined Testing Time Required: 2.5hrs to measure the resistance of all 6 Injectors @ the Injector Driver Box (IDB) connector (E100-IDB) behind the glove box compartment with engine cold: 1.6 ohms was measured across the board. Scoped known good CYL 4 Injector & suspect CYL 1 Injector @ the IDB (see attached captures) YLW: Injector Low CKT probed GRN: Injector High CKT probed BLU: Injector current ramps with Snap-On Low Amp Clamp in the 20A mode RED: Injector Input or Control from the PCM-to-IDB Confirmed faulty CYL 1 Injector Electronic Current Limiter as seen in the BLU trace in comparison to the CYL 4 Injector (known good) Pretty wild!
