Today my mom, who is the main chef of our house, teaches me this supper simple and delicious recipe for buckwheat tortillas 😋🌮 that only requires buckwheat and water! She actually learned this recipe from my aunt 😃 I hope you give them a try, they are supper simple and nutritious! if you do try them tag me or my mom on instagram 😃 My instagram: / livinglifesimply_racheli My mom's instagram: / integrative_wellness_by_irit Recipe: Ingredients: 1 Cup Buckwheat grouts Water Directions: 1. 4-5 hours before making, take the 1 cup of buckwheat grouts and wash them until the water comes out clear, then soak them for 4 hours or so (try at least 30 minutes if you do not have 4 hours) 2. When the soaking is done rinse the buckwheat grouts once again and let them sit for an hour or so to sprout a bit 3. blend the 1 cup of buckwheat grouts with 1 cup of water 4. heat up a pan and add a tiny bit of oil and then wipe the oil around with a paper towel (this allows the tortillas not to stick, do not add oil between tortillas just once at the beginning) 5. pour about 1/2 a cup of mixture on to the hot pan and quickly move it around to cover the whole thing 6. let each tortilla cook for about 4 minutes or until the sides start lifting up and you can easily detach it and flip it 7. cook it for a minute or so on the other side and move it to a plate 8. repeat steps 5-7until your mixture is all gone and enjoy 😋
