Today I went to Nagayu Onsen Ramune Onsenkan in Naoiri-cho, Taketa City, Oita Prefecture. The black and white striped building made of burnt cedar and plaster was designed by architect Terunobu Fujimori. The humor is everywhere and the wonderful building is captivating. There are two types of hot springs: a 32℃ carbonated spring and a 42℃ hydrogen carbonated spring, and it is said that alternating between them is good for your health and has been attracting medical attention.
