The Fastest journey from Cebu to Bohol via Oceanjet Ferry | Cebu to Tagbilaran to Panglao

Hey there! In this video, we’ll guide you on how to travel from Cebu to Tagbilaran, and then make your way to the beautiful Panglao Island in Bohol. Our journey begins at Cebu Port, where we’ll take the OceanJet ferry from Pier 1 to Tagbilaran port. The ferry ride takes about two hours. The distance from Cebu Port to Tagbilaran Port in Bohol is approximately 85 km (53 miles), and the ferry travels at a speed of around 42 km/hr. There are three types of ferry tickets available: open air, tourist class, and business class, prices ranging from ₱950 to ₱1,500. You can purchase ferry tickets at Cebu port or you may do it online. For tickets at Cebu Port, make sure to buy only from the official counters. Avoid purchasing from people selling tickets outside, as they may inflate the prices. Once we arrive in Tagbilaran, we’ll head to Panglao Island, just 30 minutes away. You can choose a taxi from the ferry terminal for around ₱500-600, or opt for a local tricycle for about ₱350-450, especially if you're heading to Alona Beach. Another budget-friendly option is to take a tricycle or taxi to the bus terminal in Tagbilaran, where you can catch a Southern Star Transit bus. These large, air-conditioned buses travel to Alona Beach every 45 minutes, from 6:45 am to 6 pm, with a fare of only ₱50. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and there's space for luggage.
