Drag Racing the Dodge Dakota RT on Hoosier Slicks

In this video we go drag racing the Dodge Dakota RT on Hoosier Slicks to see how it will perform with the increased traction. Last time we went to the race track we had no traction even after doing a long burnout. This time traction was not an issue and we even managed to beat a Mercedes AMG simply due to having more traction even though we were under powered with less horsepower. The truck performed great and the Dodge v8 magnum 5.9L engine held up to the abuse as well as the 46RE 4 speed transmission even though the truck is now 20 years old. Now we just need the truck to make some more power with some supporting mods to make it quicker. We removed the tail gate and spare tire from the truck to try and shed weight but the truck ran consistently the same time all 3 runs. Can you guess what time the truck runs in the 1/8th mile?
