With the ability to reach speeds of up to 1,000 km/hr, the Hyperloop is outdoing itself by also offering world-class luxury cabins with everything from wireless charging stations to huge, comfortable passenger seats. The passenger pods can travel through tunnels half the size of traditional rails, plus it can handle inclines of up to 10% like it’s easy, offering travelers incredibly smooth trips. They’re also direct-to-destination, so you won’t have to deal with a bunch of unnecessary stops. While super expensive-- a 107-mile loop around the Bay Area is expected to cost up to $13 billion-- these hyperloops can be made at almost half the cost of high-speed rail. They’re also going to help create new work opportunities with commuting becoming more efficient than ever. A proposed route in India is expected to provide $36 billion in socio-economic benefits by turning a 4 hour transportation route into a 25 minute trip.
