Facing defeat once more, the Ape Lord retreated toward the Elder Tree, having realized his mistake in being hasty. He called upon the most powerful of the Beasts, the Draconic Owl, to bring the Forbidden Fruit from the tree and aid him in one last stand. When the Cat Army made preparations and caught up, they steeled themselves to take down the Ape Lord once more. The stage starts off with a few Owlbrows, Relic Doges, Wild Doges, and Li’l Doges. While you can push forward as soon as your wallet is full, the Owlbrows are actually limited and you can stall them out now so you don’t have to deal with more than 1 in the boss fight. If you really want to make your chances better, the Relic Doges are also limited and you can spend even longer taking all of them out too. The Wild Doges are infinite, however, so there’s no getting around them being in the fight. When you hit the enemy base, Great Ape Luza will spawn alongside an Owlbrow and a horde of Relic and Wild Doges. After a few seconds, Pterowl Hazuku will join the fight as well. Hazuku is the real boss here. You want to get a good amount of damage on Luza right away before Hazuku spawns, then hold off until you can spawn more Naalas to take down Luza. If you have Awakened Doron, he makes the fight much easier by separating Luza and Hazuku. Luza tends to cover Hazuku’s blindspot while Hazuku carves a path forward for Luza to take. Keep your cool as you fend off the Wild and Relic Doges and try to keep yourself in Hazuku’s blindspot. It might be worth it to bring Soap here as well if you’re stalling out the Relic Doges at the beginning. When Luza goes down, the battle isn’t over yet. You still need to take down Hazuku and you can very well still lose. I almost lost because Hazuku hit a god Surge once and locked on to my base. This stage also drops 3 Platinum Shards.
