Hanging Around Bootheel is a recreation of a frontier town on the American Southwest; it has been used for a filming location of movies, shorts, and special events. It started with one mans' dream in or around the 1990s- We follow the daughter around as she tells the story of this dream, and how her family, her friends are keeping it alive. This is not a Ghost Town she says. We then join in on the 2025 Halloween event and hear as those of the past return to speak and trick a few visitors, and perhaps hear a few screams (in a good way), and then gain some treats. This is unedited, Unscripted. Join me as a family preserves the Old West in Deming, New Mexico one piece of wood at a time.
