On October 7, 2021 the students and staff of the Melville Comprehensive School produced the 11th MCS LipDub under the leadership of the Communications Media 20 & 30 class. Last year's production was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but we were able to go ahead with this year's shoot while observing health precautions such as wearing masks when indoors. All students and staff were invited to participate and the class thanks everyone who showed their school spirit again this year. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Brandon Needham who moved on from being principal of MCS but came back for a cameo appearance in the LipDub one last time. Thanks also to the Melville detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for joining us this year, and to the students of Miller and Davison schools in Melville for showing their school spirit. The Communications Media class apologizes for the immature and inappropriate scene that took place in the background by one of the participants. Our intention was for this LipDub to be positive, healthy and fun and we do not condone or encourage these kinds of actions. Thanks to Bryan Adams for "Summer of '69" and Avicii for "The Nights". The LipDub was shot on a Panasonic AG-AC90P camera and edited with Final Cut Pro X on an iMac computer from 2015. Thanks to the Good Spirit School Division for funding our program and providing the equipment used.
