Nominated for Best AU/Crossover in 2010 Oscars! *Won Best Video in the Crossover/AU Round!!* My entry for SYTYCV Round 3: Crossover/AU. Ever since I made it into the finals, I was really hoping I'd make it this far. (PS - I'm so amazed I'm still in! Don't tell anyone I've paid the judges, k?) For anyone who knows me, you know I love making a good (depressing) crossover. I really felt the pressure this time - so I hope this lives up to everyone's standards. I tried to make this story easy to follow. But for anyone who might be confused, here's a synopsis. Hermione has been dating Chuck, and she's always known that he's been unfaithful to her. After seeing him cheat again at a dance, she confides in her best friend, Dan. He hates to see her so unhappy and is shocked when she takes him back again. Dan begins to pull away from Hermione because he doesn't want to be the shoulder she cries on anymore - he wants something more, and Chuck knows it. (End) Chuck feels guilty about how he's treated Hermione, and goes to her room to make things right, but she isn't there. Instead, she is somewhere else also trying to make things right.
