Rwanda's Liberation struggle
Rwanda has had a fair share of violence with a big part of its history marred with bloodshed. The 1994 Genocide saw lots of deaths with official accounts putting the figures registered to 800,000. The 4 months period of bloodshed would however end with the take over of Kigali from the Juvenal Habyarimana by the Rwanda Patriotic Army under the commandership of now President Paul Kagame. But what has changed at these Liberation sites 20 years ago, Our reporter Sheila Nduhukire went on a tour of these sites and brings us this report.
