However Steve sees Natasha almost dying in a lot of their mission and he decides that he doesn't wanna get to attached to her, so he gives her a lame excuse to why they can't be together but she know that is a lie. But while she's gone he realizes that he's doing the same mistake that he did with Mary, when he ran away from her trying to keep her safe but ended up making him gone from her life forever.
