Pat Byrne has spent the best part of 5 decades in originating, developing and driving businesses across financial services, aviation, enterprise consulting, change management and software manufacturing. He is probably most associated with his two very distinctly different ‘tours of duty’with Cityjet, the airline he founded, as he says himself, being a bit of a latecomer to the sector. But Pat can also lay claim to having been the foundational driving force behind what is now known as Cornmarket the financial services provider to the public sector workforce. He was also a founding member of Rainmaker Technologies, the Dublin based software company (now part of the Skymetrix Group) responsible for the development of the highly regarded crew pay engine installed in leading airlines including Jet Blue, Air Canada, UPS, Alaska, Westjet, PSA, Endeavor and Mesa. Passionate about sport, keenly interested in evolving World affairs and a man with a diverse taste in music, Pat would describe himself as very family focussed.Pat has recently launched his latest business pursuit, After-Byrne Strategic through which he is making his phenomenal depth and breath of business experience, strategic critical thinking and leadership learnings available to those who wish to seek it.
