RESTORATION of the old rusty FELIX arithmometer, built in 1957. Restoring the calculating machine.

This old ADDING MACHINE was bought by me on the secondary market for $15. Apparently, it had been lying idle for a very long time, many, many years, and was badly rusted. I started the restoration by disassembling and repairing all the components. Apart from the heavy rust and cobwebs, the ADDING MACHINE was in good condition. I used a sandblaster to clean the rust. I decided to paint it in the original black color. The mechanism was also completely disassembled, washed, cleaned and lubricated.
