Villagers protested against Tiring Tehsildar Villagers protested against Tiring Tehsildar of Mayurbhanj district on Monday. According to the information, in the year 2018, the administration had leased 64 decimel land from plot number 549 for 99 years to the electricity company providing service to electricity consumers in Badasadam village with fake signatures and without Gram Sabha. But now Tata Power is illegally expanding 36 decimel land in plot number 610 and 27 decimel land in plot number 696 for the expansion of the said grid. Due to which hundreds of men and women of the said village became angry and took out a rally from the village to the tehsil office. Along with taking out a rally on the road and protest, they demanded withdrawal of lease from Tiring Tehsildar, polis station and Tiring Group Development Officer. The villagers said that Tata Power is illegally occupying land in the village and the tehsil administration is sitting idle, no one is taking any legal action.@[email protected]
