Although we'd all love to think our bodies are perfectly balanced and symmetrical, that's almost never the case. With rope jumping, asymmetry isn't usually an issue unless it's extreme. When it is extreme, it will lead to a lot of misses and significantly hinder your rope jumping progress. In this video, Shana Brady and Tim Haft from Punk Rope explain the three most common forms of asymmetry—one elbow in and one out, one hand up and one down, and one hand forward and one back—as well as how to correct for them.
