This video has two simple battle matches I had with the LV1 High Boost GM on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 350 cost raid with very high mobility, great build stun and good melee damage. Its weaknesses are mediocre durability, lack of dodge roll, lack of instant stun, awkward melee hitboxes and the fact that its fighting against largely overtuned 350 generals. I thought that these two matches went alright but there are definitely areas to improve on. My initial impressions of this suit is that it is very hard and punishing to play but not really strong at all despite that. I still think it is fun though. I hope that you enjoy watching! The primary ranged weapon of the High Boost GM is a pair of machine pistols with 70x2 power, 50 ammo, 600 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 175m range, 700x2 DPS and 5%x2 stagger value. These have an outstanding 1400 total DPS and the ability to stagger in just one second. The total ammo is a bit low though and your range is short. I think that it might be the best overall machine guns in the whole game. Though you still are using build stun, so keep in mind that you cannot fight any suit with an instant stun head on so try and flank with these instead. Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 1900 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap, 60% combo modifier and 75%x2 downswing modifier. The power is great on this weapon and you have a long ranged neutral swing. The downside is slow animations and narrow range on the neutral swing. You cannot double downswing fully with this weapon unless there is high latency so keep it in mind. Its first sub weapon is a late enhanced type vulcan gun with 80 power, 30 ammo, 450 RPM, 9 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 150m range, 600 DPS and 5% stagger value. These vulcans aren't the most powerful but they have a decent 2.6 seconds stun time and can be used while boosting. These are great to stagger while boosting or to use while your machine pistols are reloading. Its second sub weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 2200 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap, only one swing and 150% downswing modifier. The neutral and downswings have quite narrow punishing hitboxes but your downswing has amazing range and power. This is your ideal combo starter for damage since a properly spaced downswing can combo into single saber downswing then a double saber neutral swing. You should also try and use this while flanking, similar to suits like GP03 Stamen. It can also make use of the Aerial Combat Control skill but it is awkward to use that way. Its third sub weapon is a common enhanced hand grenade with 1100 power, 3 ammo and 50% stagger value. This has a niche use to use before your stun build but isn't useful most of the time. The High Boost GM has 13000 HP, 11 ballistic resist, 10 beam resist and 15 melee resist. With no buffer skills or shield your overall bulk is quite low. Suits like Hygogg could take you out in one combo or suits like Marine Zaku could destroy your legs easily. You also lack Emergency Evasion so as soon as anything breaks your MA, even supports, you are getting downswung. You also have 130 walk speed, 215 boost speed, 65 thrust and 60 turning speed. This is the same speed as Dom High Speed Type but you are much smaller. You also gain additional mobility if you use Overboost which makes you the fastest. The only thing faster is an EXAM suit using its touchpad ability but that is very temporary. You also have the rare skill of LV2 Forced Injector to avoid shots. Also somewhat rare for this cost, you have LV2 Maneuver Armour. This is useful to avoid being easily build stunned but the generals here are still perfectly capable of it if given a chance. You also have the unique skill of Aerial Combat Control. This lets you downswing while falling with the double sabers. It does not apply when rising up from a jump though, you also lack LV2 Flight Control so its hard to position the suit midair to properly use it. Very much a niche skill. Overall I think that High Boost GM isn't that great. It gets easily bullied by other generals and raids, even supports can give it a hard time unless you flank them. It feels very hard to play with only a decent at best suit as a reward. I think that it will definitely be buffed in the coming months. It is definitely fun to play with such a fast suit and it might be worth rolling for if you like this style of high mobility hit and run raid, but otherwise I can't recommend it at all.
