Come hang out and DIY with me! Today we're making 4 ordinary vases look like stone with this easy fall DIY! I love how they turn into antique looking stone vessels for a fraction of the cost! I had been looking for an old stone vessel for a long time, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money on one. I love the restoration hardware look, but wanted it to feel more aged/well loved. So here we are! I purchased these vases all for less than $20 total, used paint I already had on hand and got a tub of joint compound from the Habitat For Humanity ReStore (I only used a small amount for this project so I will have plenty leftover for future DIYs! I'm thinking a wall art piece next... stay tuned). This was my first time trying this aging technique so I didn't know what to expect and just went with the flow :) This project was very forgiving and I had a great time playing with the layers of paint and creating all of the fun textures. If you have ADHD like me, this is the perfect DIY to try because it takes very little prep and doesn't have to be perfect! What do you think of the final looks?
