North Carolina real estate broker arrested in triple murder in Greenville

A Greenville, North Carolina, real estate broker faces charges in a triple homicide. Police said they made the arrest Friday after three people were shot and killed at two different locations. The suspected shooter, David Lever, 55, is a real estate broker and business owner in Greenville. According to police, 80-year-old Anthony Gribble and 76-year-old Paula Gribble, a married couple, and Eenrique Reyes, 64, were all shot and killed at their homes. In a Monday news conference, Pitt County Sheriff Paula Dance said Lever was arrested at the Gribbles' home. According to the sheriff, the couple's adult son called 911 to report his parents' deaths and held Lever at gunpoint until police arrived and took Lever into custody. Dance said there is a chance there could have been more victims if the son hadn't held Lever at gunpoint.
