[Hawaii] Honolulu Police Motorcade For US Senator Akaka - Motorbikes & Police Car

Captured here is a large motorcade of the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), including several BMW motorbikes and a Toyota patrol car. Honolulu Police were seen escorting the late senator Daniel Akaka, who died on April 6th 2018, at the age of 93. Senator Akaka was the first Hawaiian of native descent to represent the senate, and enjoyed much support in his home state. A celebration of life was held on Saturday May 19th at Kawaiahao Church in downtown Honolulu after the senators body lied in state at the capitol for 24 hours, and was then escorted away by police in preparation for the funeral. Out of respect for the deceased and his family I avoided filming the celebration or the hearse, and waited several days to upload this video.
