In 1875, two men lowered a weighted champagne bottle on fishing line from their boat into Lake Tahoe’s deepest point to discover that the lake was 1,645 feet deep making Lake Tahoe the eighth deepest lake in the world.  Lake Tahoe could provide every person in the United States with 50 gallons of water per day for five years. Our consumption of water could never personally exhaust the limits of Lake Tahoe. This is the same for God’s provisions because He has no limits. Whatever our need may be, we can never exhaust God's supply.  Do you know the difference between need and want?  A need is required to survive, live and function; a want is a desire to have and desires can sometimes be followed up with pain. God will always provide us with what we need, not want. His provisions are based upon our need and dependence on Him. See the enemy is a tempter. Matthew refers to Satan as “The Tempter”. Let’s be clear, the enemy tried to tempt Jesus into thinking that his provisions (the enemy) are greater than God’s. If he can come to Jesus to try to tempt him, why would the enemy not try to tempt us on the daily? He will tempt us to believe that God’s provisions are not for us and this is not true because God will always provide the best. __________ Join Alicia F.
