One Pot Wonder Cold Process Soap Making Technique Tutorial

This month's soap making tutorial explores the One Pot Wonder technique! I adore this technique. This first video explores that basic design concept and looks at the difference between pouring from different places in the pot. The second tutorial is a bonus video that looks at what happens when you do a "Double Sided OPW" pour. Tips & Tricks: 1. You can use pretty much any recipe with this technique. 2. You will want to use a slow moving fragrance/essential oil. 3. You don't have to divide your colors up equally! You can play around with different color combinations and amounts. I really like the equal color division, but you play around with any color variation. 4. The thickness of your soap will give you different variations on the same design. A really thin trace will give super feathery lines and the thicker the trace the more variation in like swirl you will get! 5. I like to use 3, 4, or 5 colors, but you can use more. If you use just two colors I would go back and forth alternating the colors in the pot (kind of like creating a striped candy pattern), otherwise you need to use at least three colors for this technique. Recipe: As promised here is a basic recipe you can use for this soap technique, but really you can use most soap recipes successfully with this design!
