In recent years, Masashi Matsuda has written many books and albums related to the pianica. He has been active as a composer and electronic player for movies and commercials since the 1970s, and is most famous for his work on Kaneto Shindo's "The Case (Shohei Ooka)" and others. This album is his fifth solo work. Sato Masahiko is credited on the obi as "Project Participation! but according to the liner notes, "I just enjoyed floating in the kaleidoscope of sound" (what's that?).
