PEER EDUCATORS PROGRAM Adolescent years can be a rollercoaster of change and emotions. It is also the time when a child is evolving and creating their persona. Life gets interesting as they discover themselves. It can also be a time of loneliness, isolation and confusion. Connecting Trust recognizes the importance of extending mental and emotional support to adolescents. The *Peer Educators Program*, by Connecting Trust, is a yearlong program, held in schools. The PEP supports adolescents by creating safe, non-judgmental spaces for them to explore their own identities, emotions and difficulties. Connecting’s Volunteers, the Adolescents, the Schools work together as children understand their own coping strategies, available/accessible support services and create a network of support for themselves and their peers.
