Have you ever wanted to your own an iconic movie car, well Heath Craddock from Charlestown Australia did, so he created a replica of the iconic movie car, Herbie The Love Bug. The crowning jewel in the car was a new engine, worth $20,000 dollars. The engine is not some simple rebuilt engine he bought from a wreckers, it’s a custom built engine from Pat Downs of CB Performance in America, who holds the current record of the fastest VW beetle in the world. Heath figured if he was going to spend $20,000 on an engine, it better be from the best VW Engine builder.
