Electrical Circuit Pulse Particle Effect in Java + Processing

Particle systems can be used to spice up games and interactive code. In this coding challenge I create a 'Circuit Pulse ' effect (I don't really know what to call it). The particles in this system follow paths on multiples of 45 degrees, just like the traces found on Printed Circuit Boards. They have a trail that fades out which gives a really cool effect. This system uses object oriented programming to create an object for each particle. Each particle object is stored in an array that allows the program to simply update and display all the particles by looping over all the objects in the array.
