This is part of our summer 2024 Europe Trip. Our trip began in the Netherlands, followed by Germany and Czech Republic, then Germany again, and the back to the Netherlands. During this video we visit the Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Pilsen, Czech Republic, the home of the original pilsner. The place where the most popular beer type in the world was invented! During the tour you will get to see the visitors center, the bottling and canning facilities, the old brewhouse, the new and current brewhouse, as the underground cellars. Whether you really enjoy beer or don't drink it much, this tour is fascinating and full of history. I can't recommend it more! The underground cellars are incredible and were my favorite part of the tour. For those of legal drinking age, you'll also get to enjoy a glass of Pilsner Urquell brewed the traditional way. This means brewed in the cellars with open top oak fermentation barrels. It is also the only place in the world where you can get a glass of unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell, straight from the barrel.
