The Crossfire commercial, with its in-you-face visuals and hard rock theme song, is certainly a product of the 90s. However, the game itself dates back to 1971, when it was first introduced by the Milton Bradley Company. The object of the game is to shoot small metal balls into star-shaped and triangle-shaped pucks in order to knock them into your opponents goal. Sounds fun enough, but can the game itself possibly live up to the epic commercial? Introducing M0therF*cker Mike, he and Board James test this game out while paying homage to the commercial. "You'll get caught up in the...Crossfire...Crossfire...CROSSFIYAAAAA!!!!!" Crossfire was originally released in 1971 by famed game-makers Milton Bradley. Most of us, however, weren't aware of it until we saw two kids on hoverboards approach a ring of fire, ready to duke it out over one of the most intense board games we had ever seen. The gameplay involves shooting small metal balls at a puck on the board to knock into your opponent's goal, all for the joy of watching them spin away into oblivion. Motherf***er Mike makes his Board James debut as a heated battle ensues, complete with explosions, ball touching, and a rocking soundtrack. Fun Fact - according to boardgamegeek.com, protection is suggested for this game. A glove should be worn on your firing hand because the gun trigger will give you a blister. And we all thought Mario Party was the first injury-inducing game! #retro #retrogaming #nes #snes #jamesrolfe #mikematei #atari #playthrough #gameplay #gamereview
